Assignment context and description of activities


We’re looking for an experienced Test Analyst to help us with the implementation of a new Personnel & Payroll set-up for the Netherlands. The current Netherlands set-up is outsourced to Visma-Raet on their YouForce platform, and we are moving to a new outsourced set-up with Alight NGA on a predominantly SAP based landscape.


Must haves:


-End-to-end Test Analyst experience on large scale implementations of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll (or SAP On Premise) and involving multiple parties/vendors

-Parallel payroll testing experience

-Data migration and integration testing experience

->5 years experience in testing HR/IT systems and processes

-Experience with Agile tooling like Jira or Azure Boards

-Experience with test management tooling like HP ALPM or Azure Test Plans

-Self-starter, self-managing, hands-on, hands-dirty, flexible, able to have a laugh


Remote working possible, mandatory depending on Covid measures. European time-zone. Up to 9 months. Full-time. Fluent in verbal/written English, fluent in verbal/written Dutch.

Your assignment:


At ABN AMRO we currently use the SAP SuccessFactors talent suite for the Netherlands and International countries, and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central + ADP for the International countries. The Personnel Administration and Payroll technology, processes and services of the Netherlands is fully outsourced.


You will be part of the Technical (Test) Team and be the linking pin between the business analyst / developers, process owners and end-users and play a key role that all deliverables are tested by either you (together with the core team), or by process owners and finally be end-users. You will report to the Test Manager and be part of the Technical Stream.


Your work

Collect the right documents to be used as test basis

Collect test cases from vendor and review them together with the core team and process owners

Update test cases based on feedback from process owners

Import test cases in to Azure Test Plan tool and maintain them

Execute test or assist the Test Manager to coordinate test campaigns

Support data migration validation

Support end user and process owners in testing

Log and manage defects in Azure Boards

Assist Test Manager is build periodic quality status reports


Requirements


Relevant knowledge, skills, competences & desired education level


Your profile

Are you our ideal candidate? Then you meet the following essential job requirements:

At least 5 years’ experience in testing HR/IT systems and processes

Experience testing HR SaaS cloud solution such as SAP SuccessFactors and in specific the core HR modules such as Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll or SAP Payroll (on premise)

Experience testing Dutch Payroll and processing

Comfortable testing integrations / interfaces

Must have skills:

Attention to detail

Ability to work in a cross functional project team

Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and Dutch)

Ability to switch between several testing topics such as data migration validation, functional process testing and payroll parallel testing.

Structured way-of-working

Experience with agile tooling like Jira or Azure Boards

Experience with test management tooling like HP ALPM or Azure Test Plans

Remote working possible and mandatory depending on COVID measures

40 hours a week


Contract

We will offer you a contract for 6 months, with the intention to extend for the entire duration of the transformation program.

The work environment


We work in Agile scrum teams within the HR Grid of ABN AMRO. The EnCORE project team is one of the scrum teams of that Grid with one backlog. Project management resources and additional HR and IT resources are added where there is a necessity to do so. This means you may be a member of an existing line team as well.
