Assignment context and description of activities

Profile ServiceNow IRM Business Consultant

As a ServiceNow IRM Business Consultant, you will support our team of Risk specialists to make the right choices that are sustainable for and on the ServiceNow platform. Therefore, your ServiceNow expertise is crucial. You have excellent communication skills that make you ideally suited for leading workshops. In these workshops you will advise the team how to utilize ServiceNow IRM in the best possible way and you're not afraid to say ‘no’ every now and then because it’s not according to best practices.

With the following results (SMART)

• Configuration & Delivery of ServiceNow IRM OOTB workflows

• Requirements are documented

• FAT & UAT Test have been completed and documented (test results)

• List of priorities is documented (the order in which we will be activating different modules of IRM) and signed-off by all stakeholders

• Detailed implementation plan of the functionalities is delivered (when and in which order)

• Stakeholder list is delivered

• Workshop are organized and outcomes are documented

• The governance & process is updated (with the implementation of the tool processes and procedures will be amended)

• OOTB reports from IRM are created (where needed customized) and shared.

• In the first phase Issue management, policy compliance and control & monitoring is activated and embedded within the organization

• Trainings are organized and the related training documentation and planning is documented

• Work instructions are created and signed-off (handshakes 1st and 2nd line)


Relevant knowledge, skills, competences & desired education level

Expertise that you own:

• You have a Bachelor / Master degree

• At least 5 years of experience in implementing ServiceNow IRM

• You are available full time (32-40)

• Functional expertise about ServiceNow IRM (knowing what the capabilities are and how these work within an organization)

• Knowledgeable about ServiceNow CSDM (in relation to IRM)

• Great empathy for customer needs

• Great presentation and communication skills

• Fluent in English and Dutch

• Used to working in an Agile way and setting out assignments in accordance with user stories

• You have an affinity (knowledge) with Compliance and Risk Management

• Team player: You are a social person who loves to work in groups and likes to share successes and laughs

• Analytical & Problem Solver
